A Maria por traduzir para o inglês os posts deste blog, e a Ellie por enviar a tradução à imensa e fiel lista de correspondência dos fãs de Josep Carreras, atualmente hospedada pelo site www.voceditenore.com, da competente Jean Peccei.
O sonho de transformar este blog em bilíngue ainda não pôde realizar-se por absoluta falta de tempo, e apesar da minha alegria em ver tantas bandeirinhas de vários países entre os visitantes, sempre pensava que seria melhor se todos pudessem ler e compreender os posts.
A iniciativa de Maria e Ellie tornou isso realidade e me fez muito feliz. Essas pessoas maravilhosas se reuniram inicialmente no site www.jcarreras.com, que era cuidado com muito carinho pela incrível Sharon Herzog, uma brava canadense que não só era fã como colaborava muito com as ações filantrópicas da Fundação Carreras. Sharon faleceu em 2004 e deixou saudades, mas as amigas, em sua homenagem, não deixaram a peteca cair. Desde então Ellie Koppelman assumiu a lista e as colaboradoras se mantiveram unidas.
Com esse gesto carinhoso, as duas me incluem no grupo, ainda que indiretamente. Obrigada, meninas! Espero que este blog possa sempre colaborar, dentro do mesmo espírito que as uniu, para difusão da arte, vida e obra de Josep Carreras.

To Maria, for translating this blog's posts to the English language, and to Ellie for spreading the translation to the immense mailing list of Mr. Carreras' loyal fans, presently hosted by the website www.voceditenore.com, run by the efficient Jean Peccei.
The dream of making this blog bilingual has not been possible so far because I haven't had the time to do so; although it is nice to see so many different national flags among the regular visitors, I always thought it would be better if all these people could understand and enjoy the posts.
Thanks to Maria and Ellie, the dream is now come true, and I am very happy about it. These wonderful ladies were reunited at first around the site www.jcarreras.com, run by the amazing Sharon Herzog, a brave Canadian lady who not only was a great fan of Josep Carreras, but who also contributed very much to the works of the Carreras Foundation. Sharon passed away in 2004 and left us very nice memories. But her friends did not leave her legacy to history: as a special tribute, Ellie Koppelman took charge of the mailing list and the site's team remained together.
Their touching attitude brought me in, although somewhat indirectly. Thank you so much, dear ladies! May this blog be able to contribute, under the same spirit that reunited all of you, to the divulgation of Josep Carreras' art, life, and humanitary work.
